Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Mardan was established in 1990 and it has the authority to conduct matric and intermediate level annual and supply exams in the districts of Mardan, Nowshera and Swabi. All the public and private schools and colleges in these districts are affiliated with Mardan Board and thousands of regular students of these institutes every year participate in the SSC and HSSC exams under BISE Mardan. SSC part 1 & 2 annual exams under Mardan Board are held in March and April while HSSC part 1 & 2 annual exams are conducted by the board during the months of May and June.

All the schools and colleges affiliated with BISE Mardan starts admissions of new classes of matric and intermediate couple of months before the start of the new academic year. The new academic year of SSC part 1 & 2 and HSSC part 1 & 2 start in April and September respectively. The process of admission and registration of new students completes at the right time. Soon after the completion of admissions, the new academic year begins at the regular time.

BISE Mardan changes the paper pattern and syllabus of the exams almost every year in order to raise the standard of education and examination. In order to inform students about the new syllabus and paper pattern, Mardan Board issues model papers for the students every year while these model papers contain the latest paper pattern and syllabus of the board. Students can easily download these model papers from the official site of Mardan Board. Apart from that, the students can also know about important questions in the exams by using past papers. These past papers are available from the market.

The date sheets and roll number slips are issued separately by Mardan Board. SSC exams start in March while starting time of HSSC annual exams and in the month of May. BISE Mardan announces date sheet two months earlier than the start of the exams while roll number slips are issued one month before the start of the exams. Date sheets can e seen at the official site of the board while roll number slips are dispatched to the addresses of the students by the board.

Mardan Board organizes matriculate annual exams in March and April while intermediate annual exams are held in May and June. After two or three months of the exams, BISE Mardan announces the results of these exams. Students can view the result of their respective class at the official site of the board while they receives their result cards at their mentioned address few days after the announcement of the results.

Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Mardan manages the BISE Mardan primary and middle classes annual exams 2024 for the assessment of quality of education in government schools of KPK province. BISE Mardan class 5 & 8 admission forms are received well before beginning of Mardan Board 5th & 8th classes annual exams 2024 and announces the BISE Mardan grade 5 & 8 result about one month later.
