Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Mardan has the mandate to organize SSC part 1 & 2 and HSSC part 1 & 2 annual and supply exams for the students of Mardan and other nearby districts of Mardan. In these districts, all the public and private schools are affiliated with Mardan Board for the matric and intermediate classes. FA/ FSC part 1 & 2 annual exams are organized by BISE Mardan during the months of May and June while written papers are held in May and practical papers are organized by the board in the month of June.

For the intermediate class students of Mardan Board, model papers are very important to prepare for the exams as these model papers are made according to the new paper pattern and examination syllabus which are adopted by the board while BISE Mardan adopts new syllabus and paper pattern almost every year in order to increase the standard of education for the students.
